Northpine Outfitters launches the Summit bottle, built to keep drinks cold for 36 hours
The 24-ounce insulated bottle with a leak-proof lid is available now on the Northpine online store for $34.
Northpine Outfitters, an outdoor gear brand based in Boulder, Colorado, today released the Summit, a 24-ounce insulated bottle with a leak-proof lid, built after two years of testing on Colorado trails.
The Summit is made for long days outside, when a regular bottle is warm by noon. It keeps drinks cold for up to 36 hours and hot for up to 12.
Two steel walls with a vacuum between them do the work. The outside stays dry and room temperature, so the bottle can ride in a pack next to a phone or a map.

The lid locks with a quarter turn and has a loop that clips to a pack strap. The bottle fits standard cup holders and most bike cages, and it comes in four colors: Granite, Pine, Sand and Lake.
“Our customers kept asking for a bottle that lasts a full day on the trail. The Summit is the result of two years of testing in the Rockies,” said Maya Ortiz, founder of Northpine Outfitters.
Every Summit bottle comes with a lifetime warranty against defects. Replacement lids and loops are sold separately, so a lost part doesn't mean a new bottle.
